| PEREN
COLLEGE, PEREN Peren College was established on 14th
April,1987, the outcome of a joint effort of the public leaders, officers and general
public with the objective of providing facility of higher Education to the people of Peren District, most of whom are
socially,economically and educationally less advantaged
and thereby to bring them to frontline society. Since then, as the only College in the
district, Peren College has been catering to this need of the people, even under most
trying situations arising out of financial constraints.
The College was recognized by the
Government of Nagaland on 9th December,1993 and
taken over on 01.02.2006.
The College offers honours courses in English,Political Science and History.
