ACTIVITIES: 

1.          SLQACC                     :           1^s meeting on  14^th July 2006. Unanimously

                                                            resolved to set up the CQAC, a “working Group”

                                                            to visit Colleges for creating  awareness, provide

                                                            direction and guidance to undergo NAAC

                                                            Assessment & Accreditation. 

2.          CQAC                          :           1^st meeting on 17^th Oct.2006. A concrete Action

                                                            Plan was chalked out to visit the eight 2 (f) & 12(B)

                                                            Colleges in the State of Nagaland, yet to be assessed

                                                             by NAAC.

6.          SLQACC        A meeting was held on 31^st July 2007.

                                    Some govt. Colleges/Institutions were identified for NAAC

                                    Assessment  within the XI Plan Period. 

7.          Principals Workshop on the New Methodology of Assessment  &  Accreditation –

NAAC. On 30^th Oct. 2007 at Hotel Japhü was well attended by Principals of both Govt.  and Private Colleges. The Inaugural session was graced by Dr.Shürhozelie Liezietsu Hon’ble Minister, Higher Education, as Chief Guest and  Prof.K.Kannan, Vice Chancellor, Nagaland University as the guest of Honour. 

            The Resource persons for the Workshop were –

            (ii)        Dr.S.C.Ray, Deputy Secretary, U.G.C, N. Eastern Regional  Office,

                         Guwahati.
