7. During 2008-09,  five ( 5 ) new vehicles have been purchased  to help the Colleges and Directorate  to bring about administrative efficiency.  After a span of 10 years, the Directorate of Higher Education  have been provided with a  new 32  Seater  Bus.

8.Higher Education should be a model for application of modern science and technology, during 2008-09, in line with the “Year of Capacity Building” the Department have put up various proposals for inter computer connectivity and at the same time  to facilitate better service and to do away with the use of typewriters  is also in the process of training the typists of the Department in the use of computer   phase wise.
