ADMINISTRATIVE SET UP:
The Department is being looked after by Shri
Neiphiu Rio, Chief Minister. At administrative
level, it is headed by a Commissioner & Secretary assisted by a Joint Secretary.
To execute
the programs and policies of the Government, a full-fledged Directorate supported by an
Engineering Division has been established. Presently,
there are four officers in the Directorate and four officers in the Engineering Division.
The Directorate became functional in September
2003. The existing staff strength is as
